Maintenance Manager

• Develop, implement and maintain a Maintenance Plan

• Execute planned maintenance activities and statutory maintenance to take place as per maintenance plan

• Ensure maintenance procedures are developed, implemented and kept up to date

• Compile monthly maintenance reports and factory audits

• Manage contractors on-site, ensuring OHSA and cGMP are adhered to at all times

• Maintain compliance with all government regulations, health and safety standards, and building code requirements

• Manage special projects e.g., upgrades, modifications, installations and commissioning

• Manage allocated budget effectively

• Ensure that staff are trained, equipped and motivated through effective staff management processes

• Maintain housekeeping, safety and food safety requirements.

• BTech degree in Mechanical Engineering

• 3-5 years’ experience in a multidisciplinary maintenance environment

• 1 year’s experience in FMCG

• 3 Years managing staff and budgets

• Experience in canning and packaging industry would be advantageous

• Excellent management, planning and analytical skills
