This role is required to manage and control the budget and expenses of the campus. This role ensures that prospective students and/or their guardians receive excellent customer service from the campus Campus Sales Operations ManagementDevelop and communicate an annual sales plan, aligned with the National Sales strategy and set the associated sales targets for the teamCompile and implement the plan including annual sales targets and performance indicatorsDefine the resources required in order to achieve sales targetsImplement and monitor adherence to campus sales policies and proceduresIdentify challenges experienced in the campus sales environment, provide feedback and develop approaches to mitigate challengesTrain and coach student advisors Sales Target ManagementAnalyse database of sales leadsSet targets for teams based on lead databaseOversee the conversion of sales leads into applications and subsequent enrollments so as to meet targets and grow student numbersReview and monitor the achievement of call rates and conversion targetsReport on consultations and applications closedQuality Assurance of Campus SalesSet and monitor quality and performance standardsMonitor the campus sales ratings of calls to assess leads and potential conversionsMonitor the rating of student advisor call/service qualityOversee that all data is being corrected and updated across student profiles including requesting necessary supporting documentsStudent RecruitmentEnsure that prospective students and their guardians have the requisite information about Rosebank College's educational offerings and the entrance requirements for their respective courses/qualifications of interestEnsure that prospective students are guided and assisted through the online applicationOversee the subsequent enrollment processDatabase Analysis, Management & AdministrationTake custody of the Sales Database for the campus sales.Analyse campus sales application and registration data to troubleshoot and identify student needsAnalyse sales data and statistics, providing weekly and monthly dashboards to report on progress and identify areas requiring attentionPrepare reports on progress against targets and initiate action where performance is laggingCustomer Service ManagementImplement campus sales software to monitor customer service levelsMonitor customer service ratings and levels and implement corrective actions as requiredReport on customer service ratingsImplement proactive measures to improve the customer experienceBudget and Expense ManagementManage and control departmental expenses ensuring budget is not exceededCalculate and action commission claimsPeople ManagementConduct performance planning session, track and monitor performance in accordance with performance contractsConduct performance reviews in accordance with policies and procedures and take corrective actions where necessaryComplete Performance Management contracts and documentationProvide coaching and feedback to employees on how to improve and sustain their performanceManage Personal Development conversations and the completion of Personal Development PlansLead the department by managing appointments, promotions, and industrial relations issues conjunction with the Human Resources Support Service UnitConduct disciplinary actions as per the company's policy and procedure where necessaryMinimum Educational Requirement:
  • Minimum of a Bachelors Degree (NQF Level 7) in Sales/ Marketing/Communication/Public Relations/Business
  • NQF Level 8 Qualification (Advantageous)
Minimum Work Requirement:
  • 5 years experience in a Sales Environment
  • 3 Years experience in Management
  • 2 years experience in the Education sector (advantageous)
