The High School Teacher is responsible for educating students, typically aged 13–18 years, in a specific subject area. They design, prepare, and deliver lessons that promote intellectual growth, critical thinking, and personal development while preparing learners for examinations, further education, and life beyond school.Key Responsibilities:Plan, prepare, and deliver subject-specific lessons in line with the curriculum.Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.Assess, record, and report on students’ academic progress and development.Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive discipline strategies.Prepare, administer, and grade assignments, projects, and examinations.Encourage analytical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills.Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and school leadership.Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and excursions.Stay updated with developments in teaching methods and subject matter.Requirements:Education & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Education with a specialization in a relevant subject.Valid teaching certification or registration with the relevant education authority.Skills & Competencies:Strong knowledge of the relevant high school subject and curriculum.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Effective classroom management skills.Ability to inspire and motivate teenagers.Strong organizational and time-management abilities.Problem-solving and decision-making skills.Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.Additional Requirements:Previous teaching experience at high school level (advantageous).First Aid and CPR certification (preferred).Clear background check and child safety clearance.SALARIES ARE MARKET RELATED.The post appeared first on .
