Partners with Human Resource Business Partners as key stakeholders as well as Retail Store Manager, Deputy Managers and District Managers for any IR related cases to ensure a seamless execution of all HR administration.Key ResponsibilitiesPayroll and Administration
- Creation of all new contracts of employment for Retail through input and instruction
- Creation of onboarding packs for all new starters, includes all starter administration; access cards
- To ensure segregation of duties, collate all payroll information for all Retail movements; new
- Ensure all policies; processes and agreements are up to date for all HR.
- Complete exit interviews with all Deputy & Store Managers where required.
- Work closely with the payroll team to ensure data accuracy for retail.
- All payroll filing and maintaining employee records both hard copy and online, as well as archiving.
- Manage all the visas, service letters and bank letters or any additional admin request from
- Ensure all long service employees within Retail are highlighted; letters created
- Update org charts monthly and share with relevant individuals.
- Together with the HRBP and relevant District Managers or Store Managers, manage all employee
- Be the main point of contact for all IR related issues for all the retail team.
- When required, represent the company at CCMA.
- Train and empower Store Managers to make decisions and issue disciplinary action according to the
- Train the Store Managers on all IR-related content when and if required to ensure a level of self-
- Manage service level agreements and relationship with LabourNet in supporting on all IR matters
- Visit stores and staff across the region
- Relevant Bachelor's degree or National Diploma.
- 3+ years working experience within an HR department of a medium-large size organization, with proven track record in employee relations matters.
- Proven track record in learning and development.
- Able to consult and coach the business on all HR/ people related topics.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence, as well as policies and procedures.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and
- Intermediate level for MS Office applications.
- Ability to communicate and influence effectively in English, both written and oral.
- Ability to exercise good judgment and decision-making skills.
- Ability to build rapport and relationships and influence key stakeholders.
- Ability to effectively present to moderate size groups.
