Salary: R40 000 per monthskilled Technical Buyer with a strong mechanical/engineering background to manage the procurement and outsourcing of machining work, raw materials, and subcontractor services. The ideal candidate will be technically inclined, able to read engineering drawings, liaise effectively with suppliers, and provide after-service support to ensure quality and timely deliveryMinimum requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Technical Buyer in a mechanical/engineering environment.
- Strong understanding of machining processes, raw materials, and subcontracting.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Proven experience in supplier management and outsourcing follow-ups.
- Mechanical/Engineering qualification or relevant technical background (advantageous).
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail
