ENVIRONMENT:Our client looking for a Junior to Intermediate .NET Developer to join a growing Cape Town team within a Germany-based tech company. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 2-4 years of development experience who is eager to learn, contribute to real projects, and grow their technical skills in a supportive environment.You'll be involved in building new features, fixing bugs, and helping to keep internal systems running smoothly. The role is hands-on and ideal for someone who wants to work with modern .NET technologies while being guided by experienced developers.DUTIES:

Build and update web pages and features using ASP.NET Core MVC or Razor Pages.
Use C# and Entity Framework Core to connect your code to a MySQL database.
Assist with writing clean, easy-to-understand code that follows best practices.
Help test your work to make sure it works as expected.
Fix bugs or issues in the application under guidance from senior team members.
Work with Git for version control (basic branching, commits, pull requests).
Learn how to work in a team and communicate clearly about your progress or challenges.

REQUIREMENTS:

2-4 years of experience in software development (or a strong set of small/medium projects).
Working knowledge of C#, ASP.NET Core, and Entity Framework Core.
Some experience writing queries for MySQL.
Basic understanding of how web applications work (frontend/backend).
Some familiarity with Git and working in a team environment.
A willingness to learn, take feedback, and grow your skills.

Nice to Have (but not required):

Experience writing simple unit tests.
Exposure to Bootstrap or other CSS frameworks.
Interest in improving the performance and reliability of applications over time.
