Job Summary Job Title: Section EngineerLocation: Phalaborwa, South AfricaHire Resolve, a reputable recruitment agency, is seeking a Section Engineer to join our client's team in Phalaborwa. The Section Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the engineering activities in a specific section of the company's operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, experience in a mining or industrial environment, and the ability to lead a team of engineers and technicians.Responsibilities:- Manage and coordinate engineering activities within a specific section of the company's operations
- Develop and implement engineering plans, strategies, and budgets
- Monitor and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
- Provide technical expertise and support to operational teams
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize production processes and improve efficiencies
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement
- Implement and maintain maintenance programs for equipment and infrastructure
- Prepare reports and presentations for managementRequirements:- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil)
- Minimum 1 year experience as an Engineer after obtaining their GCC
- Experience in a similar role, preferably in a mining environment specifically smelter and refinery
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of relevant mining and engineering principles and practices
- Proficiency in engineering software and tools
- Strong analytical and organizational skillsBenefits:
