
Floor Manager – 4 Star Hotel – Johannesburg South

- Oversee the daily operations of the hotel restaurant, ensuring exceptional guest service at all times
- Manage floor staff, provide training, and maintain high service standards
- Handle restaurant administration including rosters, stock control, ordering, and cost management
- Plan and execute corporate functions, events, and group bookings within the restaurant
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure seamless coordination between FOH and BOH
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards
- Drive revenue through upselling, menu promotions, and excellent guest engagement
- Handle guest feedback professionally and maintain strong guest relations
- Prepare management reports and liaise with the hotel’s senior management team
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a Restaurant Manager in a 4-star hotel or high-end restaurant environment
- Strong background in hospitality and food & beverage management
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage restaurant administration and budgets
- Knowledge of health & safety regulations and best practices in hospitality
- Ability to manage events, corporate functions, and group dining effectively
- Professional, well-presented, and customer-focused attitude
- Must be based in Johannesburg or willing to relocate to Johannesburg South
