Our client has a big solar/substation project in Upington and is looking for a Civil Engineer to start in March 2024.The Civil engineers will need to collaborate closely with other engineering disciplines, such as electrical and mechanical engineers, as well as project managers, environmental specialists, and regulatory agencies to ensure the successful implementation of the overall project.Salary: Market relatedClosing date: Interviews will be scheduled before 2 February 2024Employment Type: Contract workRequirements: * Civil Engineering Experience: Minimum of 8-12 years of experience in Civil Engineering, with a proven track record of successfully managing solar/renewable energy projects and substation projects from conception to completion.

Qualification & Professional Registration: in Civil.

Design and planning
Permitting and regulatory compliance
Construction management
Infrastructure development
Geotechnical engineering
Quality control assurance
Health and safety
Cost estimation and budgeting
Documentation and reporting
