Our client, a respected and growing player in the property sector, is on the hunt for a driven and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join their finance team in Centurion. This is a rare opportunity to step directly into a commercial accounting role and apply the skills you’ve honed during your training in a real-world business context. As a Financial Accountant, you'll play a key role in the full financial function, ensuring accurate, timely reporting and supporting the financial health of the company’s diverse property portfolio. You will report directly to the Financial Manager and gain valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced, asset-rich environment.Duties:
- Prepare monthly financial reports and management accounts
- Perform reconciliations (bank, creditors, debtors, intercompany)
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Oversee fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Handle VAT calculations and submissions
Qualifications:
- BCom Accounting Degree
- SAIPA or SAICA articles
- Minimum of one-year post-articles experience is beneficial.
- Exposure to the property industry during articles is required.
