Fitter

• Carry out duties as detailed in the maintenance schedule and as per maintenance manual
• Respond to plant breakdowns based on requests as detailed on the job card
• Perform upgrade activities as per instructions
• Ensure the implementation of preventative maintenance
• Comply to the health and safety policies and procedures, at all times and immediately report any incidents
• Compile and submit the required paperwork as and when required
• Diagnose and repair faults on mechanical components and plant equipment
• Complete paperwork in accordance with quality procedures and good housekeeping practices

• A minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
• Trade test certified
• 3 years’ experience in maintenance of manufacturing equipment
• Technical Courses and exposure in welding and electrical will be an advantage
• Ability to communicate well in English Language
• Knowledge and competence in MS office
