- HNDT Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering

- Injection Moulding
- 10% - Minimum 5 years experience in a Production
- Manager role in the manufacturing industry FMCG
- 70% - In-depth and hands-on experience in, and exposure to Injection Moulding processes, tools and ancillary equipment.
- 20% - Exposure to training at IM machine suppliers

Main Outputs and ResponsibilitiesProduction Coordination
- Implement production schedules to meet customer demands
- Coordinate production activities with other departments
- Allocate resources including personnel, equipment and material to maximise efficiency and productivity
- Monitor production processes and workflow, adjusting schedules and resources as necessary to address bottlenecks and delays
- Analyse production processes to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction while optimizing efficiency and productivity
- Conduct root cause analysis of production issues and implement corrective action
- Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste
- - Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation
- Manage subordinates in line with company policies, procedures and industry collective agreement.
- Responsible to lead, motivate, train and control any allocated persons
- Ensure that subordinates record and report quality problems immediately
- Hold regular performance reviews to discuss performance against objectives, counselling employees where performance is not in line with the standards
- Motivate team to develop with a focus on ongoing improvement. Implement good ideas, give credit where due, support, counsel and discipline where necessary
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and continuous improvement.
