We have a tremendous on-site opportunity for a highly conceptual Junior to Mid-Weight Designer to join the vibrant team at a full-service, creative ad agency in Cape Town's Northern Suburbs.Ideally, you're proactive, motivated, and energetic Designer with a flair for innovative creativity. You'll be responsible for crafting eye-catching, cross-platform campaigns that captivate and inspire. Produce effective creation and delivery of a range of cross-platform print and digital work and ads.
Work closely with Account Executives as well as the rest of the creative team to convey a specific message using type, photography, illustration and colour across different ad media, including web and print media, as well as cross-platform design.
Research and stay up to date with trends to see what works for the customer.
Edit and manipulate ad layouts according to clients' specifications.
Communicate with management to determine the appropriate direction of a project.

RequirementsThe successful candidate must have/be:

Certificate/Diploma/BA Degree specialising in Graphic Design or Multimedia Design
3 - 5 years previous experience in Digital design
Hands-on experience with software like Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects and Premiere Pro
Established aesthetic skills with the ability to combine various colours, fonts and layouts
Keen eye for detail together with a highly creative mind
Exceptionally conceptual
Bias towards accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and strictly adhere to deadlines
Professional approach to time, costs and deadlines
Demonstrated innovation
A reasonable understanding of the latest trends and their role within a commercial retail environment.
