- Manage, update and develop opportunities with Alumni across a broad range of social media platforms.
- Develop and manage programmes aimed at increasing Alumni interest.
- Develop and manage plans aimed at increasing Alumni participation and engagement.
- Manage and oversee Alumni functions and events.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding the functioning and development of the Alumni community.
- Identify, engage, and activate the various Alumni community year groups and interest groups through organising functions and reunions, amongst others.
- Coordinate and maintain the functioning of the Alumni Committee.
- Implement strategic plans of the Alumni Committee under the guidance of the Chairperson of the Alumni Association and input of the Executive Head.
- Maintain, develop, and continually update the database of SAHETI Alumni and Alumni interest groups.
- Profile and highlight Alumni through their achievements amongst the SAHETI Alumni and the broader community.
- Develop relationships with all parts of SAHETI School in particular harnessing and promoting direct and value-added Alumni engagement.
- Arrange, co-ordinate and manage representation of the Alumni Association at SAHETI events and develop and implement marketing plans suited to such events so as to increase participation and involvement by Alumni.
- Motivate and establish Alumni and associated community groups as well as individuals to become donors to the Alumni Association' sactivities and fund-raising events.
- Manage administration and sales of the Alumni Association Second-Hand clothing and book shop and pursue opportunities for the further expansion of the uniform and allied offering.
- Prepare and manage the annual budget and associated information of the Alumni Association.
- Prepare reports on the progress and functioning of the Alumni Association and all other Alumni associated administrative duties.
- Engage with the Executive Head and other members of management on all aspects of the Alumni Community relationship with the school.
- A relevant tertiary qualification (a marketing background would be an advantage)
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), and the ability to manage and network through social media platforms.
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Computer and associated literacy.
- Strong management capabilities
- Understanding and appreciation of community history and dynamics
- Superior interpersonal skills.
