Duties & Responsibilities
  • Take full ownership of the catering unit, ensuring smooth and efficient daily operations.
  • Perform effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Establish, monitor, and maintain high service delivery standards.
  • Lead, motivate, train, and develop a skilled and engaged team.
  • Implement and manage operational controls aligned with budgetary requirements.
  • Ensure consistent quality in food preparation, presentation, and service, meeting all star grading standards.
  • Uphold compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Manage daily HR and IR matters, including staff development, training, and performance management.
  • Anticipate client needs and proactively address potential concerns or complaints.
  • Plan, organize, and coordinate all catering functions and events.
  • Oversee all administrative and financial responsibilities, including budgets, debtors, and reporting.
  • Accurately process documentation and interpret weekly and monthly profit and loss reports.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and customers through daily engagement.
  • Be available to work extended hours and weekends when required.
  • Stay current with food trends and industry best practices to enhance offerings.
  • Drive sales growth by identifying opportunities, upselling services, and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Culinary or Hospitality Management qualification (Diploma or Degree preferred)
