Duties & Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of the catering unit, ensuring smooth and efficient daily operations.
- Perform effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Establish, monitor, and maintain high service delivery standards.
- Lead, motivate, train, and develop a skilled and engaged team.
- Implement and manage operational controls aligned with budgetary requirements.
- Ensure consistent quality in food preparation, presentation, and service, meeting all star grading standards.
- Uphold compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Manage daily HR and IR matters, including staff development, training, and performance management.
- Anticipate client needs and proactively address potential concerns or complaints.
- Plan, organize, and coordinate all catering functions and events.
- Oversee all administrative and financial responsibilities, including budgets, debtors, and reporting.
- Accurately process documentation and interpret weekly and monthly profit and loss reports.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and customers through daily engagement.
- Be available to work extended hours and weekends when required.
- Stay current with food trends and industry best practices to enhance offerings.
- Drive sales growth by identifying opportunities, upselling services, and enhancing customer satisfaction.

- Culinary or Hospitality Management qualification (Diploma or Degree preferred)
