Master Data Manager – Logistics Industry – East RandWe are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Master Data Manager to oversee and drive the organization’s master data governance, quality, and lifecycle management across key domains such as customer, product, vendor, and financial data. This role will play a critical part in enabling data consistency, accuracy, and compliance across enterprise systems and processes.The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in master data management principles, strong technical proficiency with MDM tools and data integration methods, and proven leadership in cross-functional collaboration.Minimum requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Business.
5+ years of experience in master data management, data governance, or enterprise data roles.
Expertise in MDM tools such as Informatica, SAP MDG, Profisee, or Oracle DRM.
Strong understanding of master data domains and lifecycle (customer, product, vendor, finance).
Proficient in SQL, Excel, and data analysis tools.
Familiarity with ERP systems and operational databases.
Hands-on experience with data integration tools, ETL processes, APIs, and data modeling.
Solid knowledge of data governance frameworks and regulatory compliance (GDPR, CCPA, POPIA).

Skills required:

Experience with cloud-based MDM solutions.
Project management experience, preferably in Agile environments.

Job purpose:

Develop and maintain master data management strategies, policies, and standards aligned with business objectives.
Lead the implementation and administration of MDM tools (e.g., Informatica MDM, SAP MDG, Profisee).
Govern the full lifecycle of master data including creation, maintenance, and retirement.
Collaborate with data stewards, business units, and IT to ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance across systems.
Define and enforce data governance frameworks and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, POPIA).
Oversee data integration, ETL processes, and API-based data flows between operational and analytical systems.
Support ERP and operational systems through effective data management and troubleshooting.
Drive data quality initiatives including profiling, cleansing, validation, and reporting.
Manage stakeholder relationships and lead cross-functional teams to deliver MDM projects on time.
Analyze data trends and present insights to improve data-driven decision-making.
Champion a culture of continuous improvement, data stewardship, and service excellence.
