Develop and implement commodity strategies in line with business objectives.
Manage supplier and customer relationships, addressing complaints and ensuring service excellence.
Drive sourcing strategies to achieve the lowest possible total cost of ownership for materials and equipment.
Analyse procurement trends, value chains, and cost drivers to identify improvements and cost savings.
Oversee tender processes including scope development, tender pack compilation, evaluation, adjudication, and supplier recommendations.
Draft, review, and administer sourcing contracts and agreements.
Monitor and manage supplier performance, price adjustments, and contract amendments.
Support budgeting, project planning, and cost control processes.
Transfer best practices and ensure continuous improvement of commodity strategies.Requirements: Qualification and SkillMinimum: NQF 6 (Diploma/Advanced Certificate in Supply Chain).
Preferred: NQF 7 (Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Supply Chain).
Minimum 6 years’ supply chain or commercial experience, including at least 4 years in commodity management or procurement within the mining industry.
Strong knowledge of SAP MM.
Experience with Coupa Sourcing and contract management system (advantageous).
Experience in transport procurement and contracts management (preferred).
Medically fit for the mining operational environment.
