Cash book capturing
Perform monthly bank reconciliations
Supplier and revenue paymentsSupplier payments and reconciliations
Administer VAT, withholding and payroll tax returns and payments
Accounting and reportingDaily updating and recording of transactions on accounting software, investigation of variances to budgets and forecasts
Assist in preparing monthly financials and ad hoc reports as requested by management
AdministrationMaintain proper filing of accounting records
Perform diversified secretarial/administrative work
Liaise with external auditors and company secretaries
Office supervisionCoordinate and order office equipment & supplies, oversee quality of service providers
Administer office policies
Ad hoc travel and accommodation arrangements
Report any deviations from established procedures
Communicate proactively and effectively across jurisdictionsRequirements:Degree holder in Accounting and Finance or equivalent.
Ideally based in Mauritius or willing to relocate.Competencies:Fluent in English
Dynamic & Self Motivated, Results oriented
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications such as Excel, Word
Pleasant and outgoing personality
Strong attention to detail and well organized
