Test Engineer

• Designing and developing product test equipment for the production environment.
• Implementing designs to meet production needs on time.
• Developing test infrastructure for manual and automated testing by product development teams.
• Optimizing and enhancing existing testing infrastructure to minimize test time and cost.
• Maintaining existing test equipment to uphold product quality standards.
• Monitoring and analyzing test data regularly.
• Providing support to external manufacturing companies.
• Adhering to engineering practices and customer/company specifications.
• Working both independently and collaboratively, interfacing with internal and external stakeholders.
• Reporting any issues that may affect product performance, reliability, schedule, cost, or employee performance, and recommending improvements.
• Staying updated with changes in technologies and conducting proof of concept investigations into new tools, methods, and test strategies.
• Possibly traveling overseas to test facilities.
• Training and guiding technical personnel on equipment usage and new technologies.
• Researching new components and technologies as they become available.

• B.Eng or MEng in Electronic Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in product testing or a similar environment.
• Experience with C/C++ or C# software development.
• Proficiency in Python scripting.
• Understanding of web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Knowledge of printed circuit board design (schematics).
• Experience in embedded programming and debugging.
• Familiarity with hardware interfaces like RS-485, SPI, I2C, USB, etc.
• Experience with Raspberry Pi development.
