We are looking for a Junior Underwriter for a temporary role in Pretoria-Menlyn to underwrite life policies in order to manage risk.Responsibilities
- Perform underwriting on individual life policies
- Perform new business administration on individual life policies
- Assist with complaints resolution and compliance (TCF)Formal Education
- Grade 12Technical/Legal Certification
- RE1 & RE 5 (advantage)
- 60 or 120 credits on NQF level 5 (Depending on the date of appointment in the industry) (advantage)
- Underwriting certificate (advantage)Experience
- 1 Year Experience in long term insurance underwriting
- Medical Underwriting background (advantage)
