An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Principal Geometric Design Engineer to join a respected and forward-thinking engineering consultancy at their Cape Town office.Minimum Requirements:

Eng or B.Tech in Civil Engineering with a relevant M.Eng preferred.
Registered Professional Engineer or Technologist with ECSA.
Extensive experience in geometric road design and transport engineering.
Proficient in Civil 3D, MS Word, and Excel.
Familiarity with Civil Designer, AutoCAD, AutoTURN, HDM-4, Trasoft, and MS Project is advantageous.
Solid understanding of GCC2010, COLTO, and SANS1200 standards.
Prior project experience with SANRAL or Western Cape Government is highly desirable.
Lead geometric design on urban and rural roads, intersections, interchanges, and roundabouts.
Oversee technical reports, cost estimates, and contract documentation.
