Great opportunity if you are a passionate junior chef or cook. This busy deli/coffee shop in the middle of Cape Town City Centre needs a cook/chef who can think out of the box, use initiative, and be instrumental in delivering excellent dishes consistently. Add value by being a part of this small team where you can use your initiative and be very familiar with the basic running of a small kitchen and using all the tools in a kitchen.Requirements and Duties:

Passion for food
Junior Chef De Partie or any other cooking/baking certification or experience
Enjoy making sandwiches, baking a cake or scone, and making a salad to name a few.
Office take-away lunches or breakfast - also sit down
Monday to Friday - 07h00 - 16h00
Role is ideal if you have worked at least 3 years as a Chef De Partie or in a similar role

Role is not a kitchen hand. The position is to help this dynamic team and eatery grow and develop with a busy clientelle as well as foreign visitors and guests.
