Job SummaryA leading manufacturer of coatings and chemical solutions is looking for an experienced SHEQ Specialist with strong experience in implementing and managing ISO systems and driving compliance in a production environment to join their team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and continuously improving Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality standards across the site, ensuring full compliance with legal and internal requirements.Responsibilities:Implement, maintain, and improve ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 systems.Conduct internal audits, inspections, risk assessments, and facilitate external audits.Develop, review, and update SHEQ policies and procedures in line with legal and company requirements.Monitor and report on SHEQ performance metrics to senior management.Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement across departments.Conduct incident investigations and root cause analyses.Coordinate waste management processes and ensure effective environmental controls.Deliver SHEQ-related training and awareness campaigns.Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure timely submission of documentation, licences, and certifications.Requirements:National Diploma or Degree in Safety, Health, Environmental or Quality Management (or related field).Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a SHEQ role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.Familiarity with South African SHEQ regulations and best practices.Strong auditing, investigation, reporting, and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication and training delivery skills.Proficiency in MS Office and SHEQ management systems.Benefits:NegotiableContact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.Apply for this role today, contact Abigail King at Hire Resolve or on LinkedIn.You can also visit the Hire Resolve website: or email us your CV:We will contact you telephonically in 3 days should you be suitable for this vacancy.
