Design Engineer

• 5- 10 years exprience
• Develop detailed mechanical designs using CAD software.
• Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality teams to ensure designs meet specifications.
• Analyse design feasibility using simulations, FEA, or prototypes.
• Revise existing products to improve performance, cost-efficiency, or manufacturability.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Support product lifecycle from concept to production and post-launch improvements.
• Generate technical documentation: drawings, BOMs, specifications, and manuals.
• Work with suppliers and clients to integrate design changes and customizations

• Bachelor’s Degree in:

• Mechanical Engineering
• Manufacturing Engineering
• Product Design Engineering
• Industrial Design (with engineering focus)

• CAD Software: Proficient in tools such as:

• SolidWorks
• AutoCAD
• CATIA
• Creo (PTC)
• Siemens NX

• Simulation/Analysis Tools:

• FEA (ANSYS, Abaqus)
• CFD (Fluent, COMSOL)
• Tolerance analysis and GD&T
• Manufacturing Knowledge:

• Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA)
• Materials selection and mechanical properties
• Machining, casting, moulding, sheet metal, additive manufacturing
• Familiarity with manufacturing standards (e.g., ISO, ASME)
