Field Technician

• Education: Trade Test (Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical) or relevant N6/Diploma.
• Experience:

• 24 years experience as a technician in batteries, forklifts, automotive electrical, or renewable energy equipment.
• Exposure to lithium battery systems and industrial chargers will be an advantage.
• Skills:

• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Good communication and customer service orientation.
• Basic IT skills (for diagnostic tools and reporting).
• Other: Valid drivers license, willingness to travel frequently, and work overtime when required.

• Installation & Commissioning

• Install, configure, and commission industrial batteries, chargers, and related systems.
• Maintenance & Repairs

• Perform preventive maintenance and breakdown repairs on battery and charging systems.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Onsite Support

• Conduct technical inspections and diagnostic testing.
• Provide feedback to the After-Sales Manager on recurring field issues.
• Customer Interaction

• Train customers on basic product care and safe operation.
• Act as the first line of technical support at client sites.
• Compliance

• Adhere to safety regulations, company standards, and OEM requirements.
• Complete service documentation, job cards, and reporting.
