Hire Resolve is currently partnering with a leading Consulting firm in search of a skilled and dynamic Resident Engineer to join their team based in Midrand.As a Resident Engineer, you will play a key role in overseeing and managing the technical aspects of construction projects. You will be responsible for providing technical guidance and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Manage and oversee construction projects from start to finish
Provide technical guidance and support to project teams
Ensure compliance with regulations, specifications, and quality standards
Monitor project progress and take appropriate actions to address any issues or delays
Resolve construction-related problems and conflicts
Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders
Prepare and review project documentation, including reports and drawings

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Resident Engineer in the Consulting industry
Strong knowledge of construction principles, practices, and regulations
Excellent project management and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders
Experience in using relevant engineering software and tools
Ability to work well in a team environment
