Hire Resolve is working with a leading mining company in their search for a talented and experienced Planning Manager to join their team.Responsibilities:

Develop and implement short-term and long-term mining plans
Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations
Manage and coordinate mining activities to achieve production targets
Optimize mine operations by analyzing data and identifying improvement opportunities
Prepare and present reports on mine performance and operational challenges
Manage the budget for mining operations and control costs
Supervise a team of planners and collaborate with other departments
Contribute to the development of strategic plans and initiatives

Requirements

B.Sc. or B Tech - Mining Engineering or similar
Minimum 5 years of experience in mine planning and operations in the mining industry
Strong knowledge of mining software and planning tools
Understanding of safety and environmental regulations in mining
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
Valid driver's license
