Teaching IT & Innovation to Grades 1 - 6, including coding, robotics and integrating IT with other subjects
Managing the IT Lab
First line IT support for staff and pupils
EdTech training and coaching for staff
Edadmin administration, training and support for Highlands Primary
Involvement in the extra-mural programme
Keep up to date with new developments and trends in IT/Innovation in education

Required skills and experience:

Be a qualified and experienced teacher, with relevant qualifications.
SACE registration.
Google for Education Level 2 certification (minimum).
Experience with Minecraft for Education, Tinkercad, and robotics (including Micro:Bits, Lego for Education, Arduinos and Spheros).
Previous experience with Edadmin (advantageous).
Basic understanding of Computational Thinking and types of coding languages (including Scratch and Scratch Junior) (advantageous).
Experience with basic IT support like password management and connecting devices to Wi-Fi.
Proven experience in using technology to improve instruction in the education sector.
Experience in technology related staff development.
Up to date with the latest trends in educational technology and innovation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Be flexible and willing to get involved in the broader life of the school.
