About Our Client
Our client is a leading and award-winning corporate interior design firm based in Cape Town, known for delivering innovative, functional, and visually striking commercial environments. With a strong reputation and track record in the industry, they work with some of the biggest names in business, transforming workplaces into powerful assets for productivity and brand identity.
Now, they’re on the hunt for a Business Development Manager / External Sales Executive who's as passionate about sales as they are about design - a true hunter with the finesse and energy to open doors, build lasting relationships, and drive business growth.Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the corporate and commercial sectors.
  • Build strong relationships with C-level executives, decision-makers, developers, architects, and property professionals.
  • Represent the company in client meetings, presentations, and networking events.
  • Collaborate with the design and project teams to develop tailored interior solutions for clients.
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients and manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to contract signing.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets through strategic prospecting and closing.
  • Stay current on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activity.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Based in Cape Town or willing to relocate at your own expense.
  • Background in interior design, architecture, property development, or related industries is highly preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of B2B external sales or business development experience.
  • Strong existing network within the corporate/commercial property sectors is a plus.
  • A natural “hunter” - energetic, proactive, and fiercely driven to close deals.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills - both verbal and written.
  • Well-presented, professional, and confident in client-facing environments.
  • Able to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle a high-pressure sales environment.
  • A genuine interest in corporate interiors, spatial design, and the built environment.
