- Providing tender procurement assistance.
- Estimating and providing contractual advice and evaluation.
- Procuring and administering early survey works.
- Preparing financial reporting and managing cash flow.
- Resolving contractual and commercial problems.
- Discovering and rectifying areas that are not in keeping with regulatory practices.
- Offering direction and instruction.
- Risk assessment.
- Reviewing and developing operational process flows.
- Ensuring that all stakeholders understand and adhere to contractual obligations.
- Ensuring that the financial aspects and impact of contracts are clear to all parties.
- Develop quantity surveying processes and standards within a business.
- Ensure proper commercial closure of projects.
- Ensure proper commercial handover of the bid.
- Ensure the timeous conclusion of all contract documentation and payment of guarantees.
- Manage and monitor legal issues through liaison and briefing of the relevant legal team.
- Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for the financial management of projects, recognizing business opportunities and putting together bids to win new business as well as negotiating and agreeing contracts (Budgets and Capex planning involvement)

- Bachelor of Science Degree majoring in Quantity Surveying (an Honors Degree is Preferrable)
- Registered with SACQSP
- 3-5 years experience as a Surveyor, with experience in strategy, contract management, financial reporting, commercial and legal management; operational planning and implementation and, staff management
- Drivers License and own car is a must
- ISO 9001 compliance knowledge
