- Tertiary qualification in Agriculture advantageous
- At least 3 years’ experience in technical farming
- Strong computer skills
- Good interpersonal and leadership skills
- Plan, monitor and schedule pest control
- Develop and implement planting programs
- Monitor quality of planting work within greenhouses
- Monitor and implement cultivar trials and production
- Purchase and management of pest control agents and fertilizers
- Management of technical personnel
- Implementation and handling of all farming-related audits, including Global GAP, Farming for the Future, DAFF and Siza Environmental
- Draft and training of standard procedures
- Draft and training of duty statements
- Application of disciplinary standards
