The SHEQ Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) standards and compliance across our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the automotive manufacturing industry and a proven track record of implementing effective SHEQ practices to ensure a safe workplace and top-quality products.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain SHEQ policies and procedures specific to automotive manufacturing.
- Ensure compliance with local and international safety, health, environmental, and quality regulations and standards.
- Conduct risk assessments, audits, and inspections regularly to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions.
- Lead investigations into incidents and accidents, providing reports and recommendations to prevent recurrence.
- Coordinate training programs to heighten SHEQ awareness and compliance among employees.
- Work closely with production and management teams to integrate SHEQ into all operational processes.
- Prepare and present SHEQ performance reports to senior management.
- Relevant qualification in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management, Quality Management, or related fields.
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience as a SHEQ Manager or similar role in the automotive manufacturing or vehicle body building industry.
- Strong knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes and associated SHEQ risks.
- Excellent understanding of SHEQ legislation, ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 or ISO 45001).
- Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
