Gudani is a leading company in the automotive vehicle body building sector, committed to excellence, safety, and quality in every vehicle we manufacture. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced SHEQ Manager to join our dynamic team in Springs.Position Summary:
The SHEQ Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) standards and compliance across our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the automotive manufacturing industry and a proven track record of implementing effective SHEQ practices to ensure a safe workplace and top-quality products.Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain SHEQ policies and procedures specific to automotive manufacturing.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international safety, health, environmental, and quality regulations and standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments, audits, and inspections regularly to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions.
  • Lead investigations into incidents and accidents, providing reports and recommendations to prevent recurrence.
  • Coordinate training programs to heighten SHEQ awareness and compliance among employees.
  • Work closely with production and management teams to integrate SHEQ into all operational processes.
  • Prepare and present SHEQ performance reports to senior management.
  • Relevant qualification in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management, Quality Management, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience as a SHEQ Manager or similar role in the automotive manufacturing or vehicle body building industry.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes and associated SHEQ risks.
  • Excellent understanding of SHEQ legislation, ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 or ISO 45001).
  • Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
