We''''re growing fast—and we need a Linux wizard to help scale our infrastructure.We’re looking for a Linux Systems Engineer to take ownership of our Linux-based infrastructure, optimize performance, and ensure rock-solid uptime. You’ll work closely with developers, media technologists, and cloud engineers to support everything from media processing pipelines to large storage clusters.Start Applying!Requirements:

Certification in Linux or a degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a similar field
Previous experience as a Linux Systems Engineer
Good projects initiation in line with the advancing technologies thereby improving Linux and Windows Environments
Detailed knowledge of Linux principles, file editing, Linux commands, and file manipulation
In-depth knowledge of Nginx Reverse Backend Proxy and Load Balancers, scripting, and SSL
Valuable knowledge of MySQL database concepts
Understanding of backup procedures and storage management
Knowledge of OTRS/Znuny Ticketing System will be advantageous
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Be available to resolve urgent Linux environment issues and problems outside of business hours when required

Responsibilities:

Installing and upgrading Linux system software on company servers and computers
Creating Linux file systems
Setting up and maintaining Linux user accounts and access management systems
Setting up and maintaining Mail Gateway systems in particular Postfix and Zimbra
Understanding Vicidial, Bria telephony systems will be an added advantage
Implementing Ansible for automation and streamlining of Linux tasks and processes
Detecting and troubleshooting software and hardware issues
Responding to user requests and software errors
Monitoring the performance of the system and server
