We are looking to building on our success in the realm of coastal engineering and are seeking a highly motivated Junior Coastal Engineer to join the Ports and Terminals team in our Cape Town office.Our coastal pipeline currently has a diverse mix of coastal structure design, metocean design conditions and inputs for ports projects, dredging, adaptation planning and coastal management support. We are looking for a coastal enthusiast to help us deliver and expand on our current and upcoming opportunities.As the successful candidate, you will be:

You bring to the role:

Relevant qualifications e.g. a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
A commitment to professional development and remaining up to date with the latest advancements and guidance in coastal engineering and science
Minimum 2 years of experience in Ports and Coastal Engineering
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Willingness to collaborate and work within a team environment
A passion and drive to make af real difference

Other Desirable Attributes:

Master's in Ports and/or Coastal Engineering
Familiarity with relevant international codes and standards in the marine and coastal environment

Experience in dredging
Experience in coastal adaptation planning and design
