Job SummaryA well-established sportswear manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Floor Manager to lead their production floor in Randburg. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with a deep understanding of garment manufacturing processes, particularly managing teams of seamstresses and overseeing line machinery. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving output, streamlining workflow, and ensuring that daily production targets are consistently met without compromising on quality. This is a strategic operational role requiring a balance of people management, process oversight, and production efficiency.Responsibilities:Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the production floorLead and support a team of approximately 20 seamstresses and machine operatorsManage production timelines and ensure targets are metMonitor machinery usage and line efficiencyMaintain high standards of product quality and workmanshipIdentify and resolve production bottlenecks and workflow issuesImplement continuous improvements to boost output and team performanceReport on production metrics and liaise with senior managementRequirements:10+ years of experience in floor or production management within a clothing manufacturing environmentStrong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and motivate production teamsSolid understanding of garment construction, sewing techniques, and machine operationA practical, hands-on approach to problem-solving and team coordinationCurrently employed in a similar position, with a stable work historyAbility to work under pressure and meet high-volume production targetsBenefits:
