- Supervise and initiate the processing of client information cheques, receipts, Proforma invoices, Tax invoices, ensuring payments are received
- Calculation of PAYE/UIF/SDL levies and VAT and provide to consulting firms
- Completion of statutory returns e.g. UIF/SDL/PAYE/VAT and ensure compliance
- Preparations of payroll and approvals from Finance team before submissions.
- Issuing of IRP5’s and IT3’s and reconciliation to EMP501 at year end.
- Audit monthly tax submissions/ Reconciliations to auditors ensuring all information submitted are correct.
- Compiling and discussing with the client of monthly management accounts.
- Reconcile debtors and creditors statements.
- Dealing with auditors
- Risk Management and control
- Dealing with local tax regulations and ensure compliance
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Spare parts auditing, truck auditing, compile monthly reports i.e Stock recons
- Tracing of payment and allocations before stock is released
- Very good understanding for local Tax implications
- Provide support to Finance Manager and advise on any risk/ compliance and changing regulations that may affect the business
- Bcom degree with 5- 8yrs experience in a similar role.
- Experience in Truck imports will be highly advantageous
- Understanding of local Tax Legislations
- Very good accounting skills
- Advanced excel.
- Experience in collaborative working relationship with the Finance Manager and Tax Agent.
- Clear and concise communication skills in English due to potential language barriers.
