- Experience in the replacement of filter media in Activated Carbon Filters
- Replacement of Filter Media should include the following:
- Ensure Safety Files to be in compliance as requested by Plant Engineer or Safety Officer
- Supervising a team of general workers involve in the repack procedures
- Beverage and related water treatment plants
- Removal of Activated Carbon and Pebbles
- Replacement/repack of virgin Carbon and Pebbles
- Measuring of carbon and pebble beds
- Measuring of Oxygen levels in vessels
- Ensure the safety procedures are followed
- Report writing
- Be able to travel
- Continuous development of own technical capabilities for the benefit of the Client
- Marketing: Clients should include viz.
- Beverage Sector
- Wine/Beer Sector
- Food Sector
- Municipalities
- Related industries
- Management areas/processes:
- Scope management: Technical clarification
- Risk management: Liase with relevant management
- Planning and time management (Bar chart)
- Procurement: Subcontractors, equipment schedules, ordering in accordance with QA procedures, inspections
- Project logistics: Organisation and site establishment site progress meetings, pricing for variation orders, supply info for invoicing and follow up contractual retention conditions
- Project communications: Customer and internal
- Project result: Commercial responsibility for administration, time schedule and overall profitability
- Provide reliable service to customers
- Ensure compliance with requirements of ISO 9000-2001 and relevant Client SHE System

- At Least five years min. experience in the Water Treatment Industry related to Repacks for Activated Cabon Filters and related Filters such as Polishing Filters
