PURPOSE OF THE POSITIONTo ensure that PEP finance systems and business processes incorporate industry standards and best (fit for purpose) practices; and to provide business process and technology support to users.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES? Proposed new developments and changes to business processes and technology? Documentation of business processes alongside functional and technical specifications? Testing and providing implementation support? Change management and User training? System consulting / User support? Project managementJOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTSFinance/ Commercial related degree with analytical/commercial subjectsMinimum 5 years systems / business analyst experience, preferably in a retail / financial environmentA strong understanding of accounting practices including financial reconciliations, depreciation and stock accounting.Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP software processesStrong presentation and facilitation skillsAbove average computer literacy - Google Workspace, MS Project, Excel, Word, MS Access, VisioKnowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including:Change Impact ManagementTesting MethodologiesExperience in working on large complex projects with cross functional teams as the Lead Business Analyst.Knowledge and experience in Agile methodologies (scrum) and work practiceExperience in using a business process management software (i.e. Jira, Confluence, etc.)Experience in managing and developing junior Business AnalystsThe following will be an advantage:Any additional qualification(s) with regards to Information Systems or FinanceSAP CertificationBusiness Analysis Certification/DiplomaProject Management experienceExperience within IT Service Management and Defect ManagementCompetencies: Performing Under Pressure; Presenting; Results-oriented; Structuring; Cooperation; Organisational sensitivity; Flexibility; Analysing and forming opinions
