Quantity Surveyor

- BSc or BTech in Quantity Surveying
- Professional Registration (PrQS) - (No Candidate QS will be considered)
- 6–10 years’ relevant experience
- Proficiency in WinQS, DimensionX, MS Word, and MS Excel
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
- Review and evaluate design documentation
- Prepare preliminary and detailed cost estimates
- Compile bills of quantities and contract documentation
- Conduct financial evaluations of tenders
- Manage project cost control, including cashflow forecasts, cost reports, valuations, variation orders, and contractual claims
- Negotiate and prepare final accounts
- Attend and contribute to site and project meetings
- Conduct viability studies, damage costings, and determine value at risk
- Collaborate effectively with project managers, architects, engineers, and other quantity surveyors
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Cost estimation and budgeting expertise
- Procurement and contract administration knowledge
- Attention to detail and quality assurance
- Negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent time management and organisational ability
- Client relationship management and professional communication
