RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a highly experienced and skilled Instrumentation Superintendent to join our client's team in the North West region. As the Instrumentation Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the instrumentation department, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the plant's instrumentation systems.This is a senior leadership role that requires excellent technical knowledge, strong management skills, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a diverse team. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving continuous improvement, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, and achieving operational targets.Responsibilities:

Providing leadership and guidance to the instrumentation team
Developing and implementing effective maintenance strategies and programs
Ensuring the availability and reliability of instrumentation systems
Managing the department's budget and resources
Overseeing the planning and execution of instrumentation projects
Monitoring and evaluating the performance of the instrumentation systems

Requirements

National Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering or a related field.
Trade Certificate in Measurement, Control and Instrumentation
Minimum of 5 years of experience within the mining industry in the plant environment in tier 3 project execution
Relevant qualification in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering

Strong leadership and management skills
Experience in developing and implementing maintenance strategies
Knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements in the mining industry
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
