- Proactively identify new business opportunities via cold calling, networking, and events.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers.
- Conduct client meetings and present tailored recruitment solutions.
- Negotiate and close service agreements.
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients.
- Provide ongoing recruitment advice, support, and market insights.
- Collaborate with clients on hiring strategies and workforce planning.
- Ensure client satisfaction through regular check-ins and service feedback.
- Source high-calibre candidates using our CRM, job portals, LinkedIn, referrals, and networking.
- Screen, interview, and assess candidate suitability.
- Manage the interview process, provide feedback, and prep candidates.
- Offer career guidance and maintain regular candidate communication.
- Match candidates to job specs with strong alignment.
- Present quality shortlists to clients with full candidate profiles.
- Negotiate offers and manage the offer process.
- Maintain compliance with labour laws and recruitment best practices.
- Ensure all CRM and admin records are current and accurate.
- Maintain clean, updated records in the TRC CRM.
- Assist recruiters with financial services placements.
- Prepare weekly activity reports and assist with research or proposal development.
- Update job boards and website with open roles.
- Share insights, leads, and best practices with team members.
- Support team efforts to meet overall business targets.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in recruitment, sales, or business development.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment processes and the South African job market.
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills with a proven track record.
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and social media platforms (especially LinkedIn).
- CRM system experience (TRC CRM knowledge advantageous).
- Self-starter with a target-driven, proactive approach.

- Confident, resilient, and persistent with a positive attitude.
- Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Sales, or related field.
- Recruitment or HR certifications are advantageous.
