A leading organisation in the industrial sector is seeking an ambitious and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and develop strong client relationships.This role is ideal for a dynamic sales leader with a proven track record of identifying opportunities, securing new business, and building long-term partnerships that align with the company’s growth strategy.Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales or business development (Logistics, Supply Chain, or Industrial sector preferred)
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field (advantageous)
  • Strong financial and business acumen with excellent negotiation skills
Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities across targeted markets
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
  • Negotiate and close deals in line with company pricing and profitability strategies
  • Analyse market trends to identify opportunities for growth and competitive advantage
  • Prepare proposals, contracts, and sales presentations to support new business efforts
  • Maintain accurate reporting on pipelines, forecasts, and sales performance metrics
  • Collaborate with internal teams (operations, finance, logistics) to ensure service excellence and client satisfaction
  • Represent the business at industry events, trade shows, and networking forums
Technical Skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience working with CRM or ERP systems to track and manage sales pipelines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
