
Strategic Business Development Representative

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales or business development (Logistics, Supply Chain, or Industrial sector preferred)
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field (advantageous)
- Strong financial and business acumen with excellent negotiation skills
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities across targeted markets
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
- Negotiate and close deals in line with company pricing and profitability strategies
- Analyse market trends to identify opportunities for growth and competitive advantage
- Prepare proposals, contracts, and sales presentations to support new business efforts
- Maintain accurate reporting on pipelines, forecasts, and sales performance metrics
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, finance, logistics) to ensure service excellence and client satisfaction
- Represent the business at industry events, trade shows, and networking forums
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience working with CRM or ERP systems to track and manage sales pipelines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
