You’ll spend your time connecting people with opportunities, building relationships with clients, and making sure both sides walk away feeling like they won. - Finding amazing talent – searching, chatting, interviewing, and spotting that perfect match.
- Building strong relationships with clients and understanding what makes their teams tick.
- Going out there to win new business – calling, meeting, pitching, and showing why we’re the right partner.
- Writing up job ads that actually get people excited (not the boring kind).
- Keeping tabs on what’s happening in the job market and sharing insights with clients.
- Juggling lots of moving parts: candidates, clients, offers, follow-ups – and making it all look easy.
- Experience in recruitment or sales (or both). If you’ve ever had to hit targets, you’ll know what this feels like.
- Confidence to pick up the phone, meet people, and sell an idea.
- Good judgement – you’ll be the one who knows when someone’s a fit and when they’re not.
- Organisation – because there’s a lot happening at once.
- A bit of grit. Recruitment has highs and lows, and you’ll need to ride them both.
- Energy and positivity – people should want to work with you.
- Curiosity – you’ll want to understand industries, businesses, and people.
- Creativity – whether it’s writing ads, finding candidates, or approaching new clients.
