- Lead and oversee all HR operational functions at the site, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, performance management, employee relations, and compliance with labour legislation.
- Drive talent development initiatives, coaching and mentoring employees to enhance skills and engagement.
- Partner with leadership to implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives and organisational goals.
- Foster a positive workplace culture, ensuring employee empowerment, motivation, and retention.
- Manage industrial relations, addressing employee issues, grievances, and disciplinary matters in line with legislation and company policies.
- Oversee HR processes and reporting, maintaining accurate employee records and generating management insights.
- Lead recruitment campaigns to attract top talent for current and future needs.
- Develop and implement training programs, succession planning, and career development initiatives to build internal capability.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and labour laws at all times.
- Collaborate with other departments, including operations and finance, to ensure seamless HR support and alignment.
- Support change management initiatives and contribute to organisational transformation projects.
- Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes and improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Prepare and present HR metrics and reports to senior management to guide decision-making.
- Demonstrate leadership potential and prepare for growth into an HR Director role.
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field (B.Tech / Degree).
- 5–7 years HR experience, ideally within a manufacturing, engineering, automotive environment, or OEM setting.
- Experience working with MIBCO (Advantageous)
- Proven experience in full HR function delivery, including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, payroll, and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of labour legislation, CCMA and HR best practices in South Africa.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to coach and develop employees.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving
- Strong analytical and reporting abilities, including HR metrics and dashboards.
- PC literate: MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and HR systems experience.
- Valid driver’s license and clean criminal record.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion.
- Ambitious, with a growth mindset and readiness to develop toward HR Director
