Finance Executive

• Large Group
• You should have experience in the insurance industry
• Be the trusted advisor and provide finance and operational support to Executives
• There are substantial bonuses and LT incentives assigned to this position

• Provide direction and support to operations and leadership teams in pursuit of business goals and objectives
• Assist in developing and implementing commercial strategies to drive revenue growth and enhance profitability
• Expansion initiatives in South Africa
• Deliver analysis, scenario modelling and insightful reporting on key business, finance and operational metrics and performance indicators and make recommendations for decision making
• Business partnering, gather information and context from stakeholders, simplify insights, provide accurate business performance updates, and develop recommendations to overcome market and business volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity
• Analyze monthly performance versus the forecast
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Lead project initiatives
• Assist with managing the organisation's risk exposure and ensure that appropriate controls and procedures are developed, maintained, and monitored for effectiveness

• CA(SA) with 10+ years post articles experience
• Insurance industry exposure is a non-negotiable
• IFRS 17
• Experience forming part of the executive/director team
• Manage a large team and pull everything together. The job has material accountability and managing stress will be critical
• Ability to articulate complex information
