Junior Data Engineer

• Design and build automated data pipelines between business applications
• Develop ETL/ELT processes for data transformation and loading
• Implement scheduled data processes and workflows
• Reduce manual data handling through automation
• Establish data validation rules and quality checks
• Monitor data accuracy and completeness across systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies
• Implement preventative measures for data issues
• Partner with business teams to understand data requirements
• Document data flows and business processes
• Translate business needs into technical solutions
• Provide support for critical daily/weekly data operations

• Degree in Finance, Engineering, Computer science, Mathematics is beneficial
• 1-2 years experience in financial services industry is beneficial
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Independant problem solver
• Data: PostgreSQL, SQL Server
• Programming: C#, Typescript
