We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Automation Tester with a solid foundation in software testing principles, certified with ISTQB Foundation Level, and experienced in using ALM tools to manage test lifecycle activities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in automation testing frameworks and tools, test case design, execution, defect management, and reporting.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and desktop applications.Execute automated and manual test cases to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability.Collaborate with development, QA, and business teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.Use ALM (e.g., Micro Focus ALM, Jira with test management plugins) to plan, manage, and track test cases, defects, and releases.Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with developers to resolve issues efficiently.Maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and reports aligned with ISTQB best practices.Continuously improve automation frameworks and testing processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.Support regression testing cycles and perform root cause analysis for failures.Provide regular status updates and metrics to stakeholders.Required Qualifications:ISTQB Foundation Level (ISTQB FL) certification is mandatory.Proven experience working with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools such as Micro Focus ALM, Jira (with test management add-ons like Zephyr, Xray), or equivalent.Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, lifecycle, and best practices.Hands-on experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, Java, Python, C#, or others).Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools and processes is a plus.Experience in defect tracking and test management.Good understanding of Agile and Scrum software development methodologies.Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.Preferred Skills:Experience with API testing and automation (e.g., Postman, SoapUI).Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).Experience in both manual and automated testing.Exposure to database querying and validation (SQL).Education:Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
