A well-established vehicle dealership based in East London is looking for an experienced and qualified Mechanic/ Technician to join their team based in East London, Eastern Cape.Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

Grade 12 Matric Certificate
Trade Test Certificate- with petrol/ diesel
A minimum of 1-3 years working experience with strong knowledge of diagnostics and general mechanical repairs
Must be energetic, reliable, and able to work independently

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:

Diagnose and repair diesel and petrol engines on commercial and light vehicles
Perform routine maintenance services and inspections
Fault finding using diagnostic equipment
Brake, clutch, suspension, and engine repairs
Test drive vehicles to verify repairs
Complete job cards and service reports accurately
Ensure workshop tools and equipment are used correctly and maintained
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
Work efficiently under pressure and within deadlines
