- Develop and execute action plans to achieve sales and export targets aligned with the company strategy.
- Identify, pursue, and secure new customers and markets across SSA.
- Monitor customer buying patterns to forecast demand and manage consignment stock effectively.
- Collaborate with Debtors to ensure timely collection of outstanding payments and manage high-risk customers.
- Maintain accurate export documentation, permits, and customer account records.
- Oversee governance, ensuring compliance with company policies, export regulations, and audit requirements.
- Strengthen stakeholder relationships, resolve customer issues within SLA, and ensure high levels of retention and satisfaction.
- Monitor team and service provider performance, setting objectives and addressing performance gaps.
- Contribute to financial management by assisting with budgets, cost-saving initiatives, and reducing operational waste
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sales and Marketing or related field (NQF 7)
- 6–8 years’ Sales & Marketing experience in a manufacturing environment
- At least 3+ years’ exposure to SSA export markets
- Computer literacy (MS Office Suite, SAP, ERP systems)
- Strong understanding of export compliance, distribution processes, and market dynamics
- Honours Degree (NQF 8) in Sales and Marketing or related field (advantageous)
- Proactive and results-driven
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical ability
- Customer-focused with outstanding relationship management
- Confident communicator with resilience under pressure
- Skilled in people management and stakeholder engagement
