Shift Manager

• Oversee and manage Cold Store, Logistics, and Dispatch operations during allocated shift.
• Ensure adherence to operational plans, schedules, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Monitor and maintain product quality, accuracy, and safety standards.
• Effectively lead, supervise, and motivate shift staff to achieve performance targets.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and on-time dispatch.
• Report operational issues, challenges, and improvements to management.

• Matric / Grade 12 (relevant logistics or supply chain qualification advantageous).
• 35 years experience in a cold store, logistics, or dispatch supervisory/management role.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Good understanding of cold chain management, health & safety, and quality control processes.
• Ability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as required.
• Proficient in MS Office and warehouse management systems.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to continuous improvement.
